When we found out that Brenda’s air conditioning system was nearly 40 years old, we knew we had to do something. As any Arizonan knows, a reliable air conditioner is essential for staying cool during the brutal desert summers. We couldn’t let this local hero — who has done so much for others — be vulnerable to the heat. Our team decided to establish the Brenda’s Champion Award, donating a new air conditioning system to replace Brenda’s 38-year-old unit.

Even seasoned HVAC professionals like us were surprised to learn that Brenda’s air conditioner had survived a whopping 38 years. Most AC systems last between 12 and 15 years, but Brenda’s was still working just fine all these years later.

How was this possible? The better care you show your AC unit, the longer it will last, which is why annual maintenance is so critical. And, as we all know, Brenda is one of the most caring people in the community. That caring attitude very well could have had a lasting impact on her system — just like she’s had on our community.
